I bought this to hopefully listen to audiobooks in bed without disturbing anyone. I have succeeded in this, mainly because these "Sleep Headphones" don't get very loud. That's good for the bedroom, but I doubt that if you were using these in a loud gym or outside where it was particularly noisy, these headband headphones would have enough oompf to rise above the din. I thank my lucky stars that I only want to use them in a quiet environment.The sound these 'phones produce is very dependent on many factors: how good the recording is, high or low bitrate music file, the player that's bluetoothing the signal to your 'phones, whether you're listening to music streamed from the internet or your source is already on the player you are using, etc. The point is, that the sound very much depends on things you may or may not have considered. I will say this, when the music you play is of a reasonably high bit-rate and is not being streamed, but rather has a home on your player, the sound is surprisingly good. I mean really good. However, if you're streaming low bit-rate music, the highs start to sound like fingernails on a chalkboard.Another factor as to whether you'll have quality sound piped into your ears is the placement of the speakers in relation to your ears; they have to be right over your ears at the optimal position. You'll have to experiment to find where that is and the manufacturer makes that quite easy. The speakers are sewn into a tight "canal" in the headband, which allows you to move the speakers forward or back and be reasonably assured that they'll still be correctly positioned the next time your reach for them.And don't stray too far from your Bluetooth player, or you'll get drop-out without a doubt. If you put a wall or two between you and the source, your signal will most definitely get interrupted.My headband is tight on me, but I have a big head. I believe though that they will be snug on anyone. The band is made of a stretchy material, probably Spandex, so expect a snug fit.Battery life was longer than I expected, but not much longer. It's above average from my perspective.For listening to audiobooks or music in a quiet environment, these "Sleep Headphones" excel. On the other hand, if you use these in a noisy environment, you may be straining to hear what's playing. All in all, though, these headband headphones seem to be well thought out and executed. I definitely recommend them, especially if you'll be using them in the right environment. I'd give them 4.5 stars if I could.First, when I saw this product, I had to get it. I'm an Audible junkie and love listening to books. So this was a must to see how it works. The product is soft, comfortable, and easy to sleep and lay with it on your head. I loved everything about it except for a few minor issues.The noise cancellation isn't as good as I expected, I had to fiddle a lot to get my ears to line up with the headphones, and it still wasn't an exact fit. I'm wondering if it had to do with my head size, which is not large or small, more average. Or just the position it is placed.The sound quality wasn't bad at all, but not great. It was OK. I could easily turn the volume up and down due to the location being on the forehead, and easy to remember left for up and right for turning the volume down and off in the middle. I did notice that the volume only went up so high, which wasn't as loud as I think it could have gone, but maybe that was because it wasn't positioned snugly over my ears.As to the sound quality, I wish the earphones had more of a well-rounded sound. The sound has more treble pitch. There was hardly much base at all, so I wouldn't classify these as being similar to stereo-sound quality, but at the same time, the sound isn't bad.I like that it's washable (YES!! ?), although I have not needed to get to that stage yet since I don't exercise or run with it on. And the battery life is great! Otherwise, this is a pretty good product with a few minor improvements to be considered. Oh, one more thing, I wish they had more colors.The MMUSS Sleep Headphones Wireless Sport Headband makes it much easier to fall asleep. I used to wear earbuds to bed but they're so uncomfortable. When I would wake up in the morning, one or both of the earbuds would have fallen out of my ears and into the bed, under the bed or behind the bed. This headband has definitely kept me from wasting time, searching for lost earbuds.The headband is comfortable to wear. It doesn't make me hot, in the middle of the night. The headphone pieces on each side, fit directly over my ears. It has good sound but the volume doesn't go very high. That's the only thing, that I didn't like. I do like, that it has call answering and very simple controls. I also like to wear this headband, when I'm out doing things, like walking my dog or hiking.I wanted to like these, as I sometimes enjoy kicking back with headphones on listening to something privately so as not to disturb anyone else. But this contraption is designed in such a way that the speakers protrude and push against your ears in a very uncomfortable manner. I think it’s a step in the right direction, but someone needs to add more padding to the ear sections, or maybe come up with an even smaller speaker so flat that it isn’t noticeable. It isn’t so bad for standing up use, but for lying down and rolling your head on the side you may end up looking for another solution. The design of the head-band does a good job of blocking out external noise, so be cautious when you are out and about jogging, walking, etc., as you might miss some important sounds that could save your life. The one-size-fits-all nature of this device inevitably means that people with fatter heads will be at a disadvantage trying to wear this. All-in-all it does what it is supposed to do, but I believe the best is yet to come for devices like this.So far, I have been happy with my headband. I haven't slept with it but used it while working around the house. Easier for me than having to deal with earbuds. So far, I haven't had any issues with pairing and the sound is okay for me. But again, I'm not super picky. Still getting used with the controls - I usually set everything on my phone or laptop as I start using them. If you're looking for something like this for yourself or for another person, I would suggest considering this headband. And remember, Christmas is only 92 days away.
