Initially I wasn't expecting much from this speaker. From reading the product page I noticed there was more emphasis on aesthetic than specs and the same goes for the box when I opened it. Well I was wrong.This Heysong has replaced my JBL Flip 3 as my go to speaker when I'm in a pinch. It's slightly larger than the JBL which gives it enough space to house a passive radiator. This makes a huge difference in terms of sound. While the JBL has bass you can hear this one has bass you can hear and feel. Besides that it can get loud! Depending on the song it might even start to shake all over the table. I'm no bass head but I feel it's essential in these small form factor speakers.The only drawback from the bass shelf is that Heysong sounds slightly muddier than the JBL. It's more noticeable when listening to people speak. This made listening to interviews or podcasts a nicer experience with the Flip 3 because of the clarity in the voices. Given all this the Heysong still retains a good amount of details in music.The included RGB feels kind of unnecessary but it looks good if you're into it. They're easy to change and turn off. Likewise he speaker itself is easy to setup and use. So far I've had no connection issues in any of my listening sessions. Overall it's a fun listening experience. There's a lot of competition when it comes to speakers in this price range and I can the Heysong UFO holds its own pretty well.Lastly, I'm docking it a point because of the general lack of information regarding battery life and specs on the product page. I would like to see more emphasis on the quality of the speaker and less on aesthetics. One thing I'd like to recommend is the inclusion of a carabiner in the future; tying a knot isn't impractical but it sure is less convenient than the quick release of a carabiner.
