Morel Tempo Ultra 572 Integra 5"x7" 2-Way Car Speakers - Premium Sound for Cars, Trucks & SUVs - Perfect for Upgrading Your Vehicle Audio System

These are replacing the Alpine Type R 6 x 8's in my front doors in my 2002 F-150. I replaced the rear's last year with the 6 x 8 JBL Stadium GTO 860's and like their sound but more of a deep mid bass sound with them. I have always been a big fan of Focal components in my other ride and had thought of them as some of the best I've ever heard. Enter these Morel 5 x 7's and I am in awe of their sound! Easily comparable to the Focal Flax/Performance speakers in my other car install. They do not exhibit the "bright" tweeter sound Focal is known for at all. I used Dynamat on the interiors of the doors and around the mounting area. The sound is simply jaw dropping! I am hearing detail I never heard with the Alpine's. I am trying hard not to push them during the break in period but so far the result is a crisp, clear and accurate reproduction of the source material on par with the Focal's. I took a chance on these as there aren't a lot of reviews or Youtube videos out there. At $300 a pair these are not cheap and this is at a $30 to $60 discount off of the list price. Well worth ever penny, you simply can't go wrong with these for high quality sound in a 5 x 7 size, They have great low end for a speaker this size and are powered by an ARC Audio 4 channel amp that simply brings the music to life. I need to find a reason to take a long ride soon to finish breaking them in!
