Good qualityIf you have ever played with reference speakers in a recording studio, then you know what I am talking about. By being accurate, very little can be added to or taken away from the audio spectrum. The speaker on this particular unit has a frequency response of 100 Hz on the low end to 22 KHz on the high end with a speaker volume of 87 dB on the high end, which is ideal for reproducing human voices. According to CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), a whisper is about 30 dB, a normal conversation is about 60 dB, and a gas powered lawnmower or leaf blower is about 80 to 85 dB. In other words, this thing can be louder than a lawnmower if you want it to. When talking at a distance of about 2 to 3 feet, the microphones on this unit start to rival those on the AirPods Pro. Once you go beyond 3 feet, the voice starts to drift away and may sound a little hollow due to the room effect, but then again, if you get too close, the proximity effect will start to kick in at about 12 inches, which will make your voice sound unnecessarily boomy. When not using this thing as a speakerphone, you can also use it as a Bluetooth speaker to stream audio. Talk radio sounds perfect. A newscast with jingles and sound effects may start to get a little too busy. And if music is your cup of tea, then maybe casual listening is what this thing is intended for. Remember what I said in the beginning? This is a very accurate sounding speakerphone, which means, it’s an ideal reproduction apparatus for human voices. If you are looking for those gut punching lows and sparkling highs, then you might want to go somewhere else.Very pleasantly surprised with this kit. There's a quality feel to the speakers and a little heft. The appearance is very nice. Setup with Windows 10 was effortless, plug and play. The speakers and microphone installed automatically. In the room pictured, I could clearly hear audio being played through the speakers from any point in the room. I started a voice recorder because I didn't have someone available for a web meeting. I was able to clearly record myself from all points around the table and even against the wall. The microphones picked up voice very well. The "extender" cable is actually an ethernet patch cable. I have a few feet left if I wanted to spread them out more.Haven't used them long (and probably wont update the review honestly lol), but initial impression is good. I could see us getting a few more of these.Simply Setup - Windows 10 laptops. Just plug in the wireless adapter. Connected directly to the Master wireless speaker. 20 people in a large break room. Speaker devices along the wall. Multiple remote locations. Everyone was thrilled with the sound for the internet call. The microphone picked up people from far across the room with no problem. No echoing Very satisfied with this product.It works pretty well - volume control is a little odd in Windows (long scroll of the volume control to achieve noticeable up/down) but not a big deal. Sound quality is pretty good for a small speaker. Bought this mainly for a microphone to record meetings so it serves the purpose fine.The microphone works much better the built-in microphone on Mac laptop.My co-workers are saying they could hear my much clearer than before.Love the product!I regret buying this USB speaker. The sound quality is really bad. There are a lot of noises. I don’t know why the high price is of such poor quality. This not only affects my work, but also wastes my time to return the product. , A very unhappy shopping.
