I've been buying this product for a few years, and this is by far the highest quality iteration I've seen is far, with a much better cable quality. These tend to last me a year or so, with the weak points being the inline volume control and mic, and the connection of the wire into the speakers. I've had this latest version for a few months, and it seems sturdier than before
